The Perle Suite: Space and Light

Stunning views of the surrounding nature

Located on the château’s mountain-level floor with direct access to the living room, the Perle Suite stands out for its generous size.

Bathed in natural light thanks to triple aspect windows, it offers panoramic views of the rose garden, the Laqueuille rock formation, and the Santoire valley with the village of Dienne.

Refined décor by Serrurier-Bovy

A harmonious blend of modernity and tradition

The suite is named after the Perle furniture set it features — designed in 1904 by Serrurier-Bovy for the hotel room design competition organised by the Automobile Club de France (Category B).
The walls are covered with woven wallpaper reminiscent of haute couture, complemented by warm oak and padauk furniture with turquoise enamelled cabochons. The result is an atmosphere that gracefully balances modernity and tradition. An oak fireplace and a cosy sitting area complete the room.

Chambre-Perle-1

Charming and distinctive annex spaces

A private reading room and an exceptional alcove

A wood-panelled alcove, evoking the luxury train cabins of the past, houses a charming dressing area. Opposite, a spacious shower is adorned with delicate turquoise Venetian glass tiles. Separate but adjacent toilets are located in the south turret.

A private reading room, located in the west tower and accessible via a small hallway, overlooks the rose garden. Decorated with the rare Silex ensemble — a set created in 1903 by Gustave Serrurier-Bovy for La Cheyrelle — it offers an intimate retreat, ideal for writing or quiet reflection. The Silex collection, considered one of the artist’s masterpieces, is now part of the Musée d’Orsay’s permanent collection.
